The soul who sins shall die (Ezekiel 18:4; Romans 6:23). Sin is different and a bond of sin is different. What is sin? What is the bond of sin? Let us meditate on this message in some detail. Disobeying the Word of God and acting contrary to it is a sin. The man who does such a sin becomes the sinner. A spirit takes power over the man because of his sin. It is called the spirit of sin. Such a spirit will take authority and rule that person's spirit, soul, body, thoughts, and emotions. Will control and govern him. This is called a bond.

For example, a man in his youth speaks blasphemies. After being saved, he confessed his sins and left that. But the bond was not broken. Thus, his sin has been forgiven. But the bond built by that blasphemy continues to work. It can be a hindrance to the spiritual life and blessings by staying on the tongue. This bond will remain intact even though passing for many years and becomes old.

To this day, many are affected by such bonds. They would have sinned before and confessed their sins. But since the bonds of sin are not broken, it still remains to be a barrier in the blessings today. So destitution would have followed.
